why the first ever papa ajasco stopped playing the role

The interview started with him:

* are you PAPA AJASCO? *

why the first ever papa ajasco stopped playing the role
papa ajasco, promiseCRIB'

No, I'm no longer Papa Ajasco because I'm no more doing Papa Ajasco. In other words, I'm no longer playing the role of Papa Ajasco. It's another person that is playing the role now. So, I can always refer to myself as former Papa Ajasco.
But why did you give up on the role?
A lot of people have asked me this question. Well, it's not as if I gave up on the role. The owner of the job took his job from me. He said he didn't want to use me any more.
Were you not playing the role well?
I was, but what happened was that we went to Benin, myself, Mama Ajasco and Boy Alinco, where we attended a new year party for children somewhere in Benin. We took pictures with the children, had some handshakes with them because you know, children love to see Papa Ajasco and I promised the organiser of the party that I would be coming with some of my colleagues. The party was in collaboration with one company in Benin. We didn't go to showcase Papa Ajasco or Alinco or Mama Ajasco stuff. We went because of names and our faces. So, when we got back to Lagos, Wale Adenuga, the owner of Papa Ajasco Comedy show got to know about the party. He said that he has been warning us that we shouldn't use the name of the company to do such things. We told him that we didn't use the name of the company. That couldn't make any meaning to him and he said he didn't want us anymore, that he was tired of us. That was how I stopped since the beginning of this year.
But now that you are no longer playing the role, how do you feel when people see you and still call Papa Ajasco?
Well, I'm still Papa Ajasco I'm still the original Papa Ajasco, there is no doubt about that. All other ones are fake. I still say this even to my fans. How he is doing it now, I don't know. If he is catching up or not I don't know. But I do hear from my fans too that no matter how whosoever tries, he cannot be like me.
Is that why you change your familiar bald hair style you were known with?
Exactly! I'm not a bald-headed man. It was just because of the program that I used to shave the hair at the centre of my head. And I did that for nine good years. And because my wife said that I looked handsome in it, I decided to keep it. When we wanted to start the program, even the producer said that we should go and buy mask and all that but I said let's try and use my real hair and face; amazingly it came out well. So, I used it for that programme for nine good years. When it grew, I would shave it. I was virtually shaving it every week. I maintained the shape of the hair. But for the past one year now, I have left my hair the way it is because the thing happened December 2005.
Was it why you stopped wearing a haircut you said your wife liked? Were you scared you could be sued by your ex-boss if you had continued?
Well, not really. I know it's my head, I can still shave my hair to the style I like.
But why did you stop a hairstyle that brought you so much fame?
If I still feel like going for it, nothing will stop me. It is because I may have other programmes to do that may not, you know, warrant me cutting my hair as Papa Ajasco.
But that style was your signature of a sort?
Yes, I know but I'm no longer playing the role. But I'm missing the style if I should be honest. I am. I'm used to it. For instance, that centre I used to shave off now itches me, even now that I'm sitting facing you, that centre still itches me. But the only thing I enjoy now is the fact that I can stay in an airconditioned room for long unlike in those days when I was having artificial bald head. Cold could easily get into my body through that shaved part of my head. It wasn't natural and once you do things that are not natural, it tends to backfire on you. My fans still recognise me even without the bald. They get excited when they see me.
How about your big tummy, was it artificial too?
No my big tummy is real. (Rubs it). This is real. It is no pillow. Everything about me is natural except my hairstyle.
Is it only comedy that you are good at?
It is not only comedy that I do. As an actor, you must be able to play all roles. Before we started the programme, Papa Ajasco, I took part in one soap opera. It was in one television series that Wale Adenuga saw me. I played the role of a policeman. That was what he saw when he called me over.

the reason why microsoft bought LINKEDIN

Let’s assume, you’re a business productivity consultant assigned to a new client. What do think would be the best way to get up to speed on their organizational culture and needs?
Simple: You talk to a lot of people. You find out about their backgrounds, their roles, their interests. You read what they’ve written. You listen in on their conversations.

Let’s say you want to be a business productivity consultant to every organization on the face of the earth. What’s the best way to learn everything about how people work, all at once?
It’s simple. Swallow LinkedIn.
That’s just what Microsoft did, because that’s just what Microsoft wants to be.

Beyond the low-hanging fruit.

There are a lot of good reasons for Microsoft to acquire the professional social network, even at a $26.2 billion price tag. Microsoft’s enterprise collaboration stack has giant holes in the areas of expertise location, contact management and content publishing that SharePoint has never really been able to fill. Lots of large companies have been using LinkedIn as their informal organizational directory for years anyway. Formal integration with Microsoft back office technologies can only help.
LinkedIn is a treasure-trove of data to help Microsoft’s digital advertising unit target all-important business-decision makers. It instantly vaults Microsoft into the B2B marketing and advertising data authority for programmatic content aimed at professionals.

The TUSD dual language program has beign extended to the east side: promiseCRIB'

As for TUCSON, AZ (Tucson promiseCRIB') -
Students in the Tucson Unified School District will get the chance to learn a second language this school year.
For the first time, the district’s dual language program is expanding to the east side.
Previously, the dual language program had only been available at schools on the southwest side.
Some of the 2,100 dual language students had to be bused to one of the 10 schools that offer the program if they wanted to be a part of it.
Dual Language at TUSD has had its challenges over the years.
District leaders said it’s been a struggle to find qualified teachers who can really immerse students in the Spanish language.

The program at TUSD was audited earlier this year, and one of the things that was found was that the district could do a better job at implementing the program.
“One of the things that was missing, is that we didn’t really have a plan, a whole plan from kinder all the way to high school,” said Mark Alvarez, language acquisition director for TUSD.
The district has since created a master plan. Their new pilot program will start at Bloom Elementary.
With this new model, 90 percent of instruction will be in Spanish, and students will only get about 30 minutes of English each day.
As students go through elementary to middle school, instruction in English and Spanish will even out.
This will eventually produce graduates who are not only bilingual, but bi-literate.
“There are so many benefits and in our global society, having to learn two languages, it’s a win-win situation all the way around for our children. We want to start them at that age, kinder at five or six years old so that they will have a very successful life of knowing two languages," Alvarez said.
Future third grader Melivella Urbina has been in the dual language program at TUSD since kindergarten.
She’s only seven, but already knows she wants to be a lawyer when she grows up

“You need to know both languages to get a good job,” Urbina said.
And now the class of 2029, just like Urbina, will get that chance too.
Upon high school graduation, students will receive a seal of bi-literacy.
The hope is that these kids will be more marketable and successful in the future.
“We are living in a global environment where being bilingual is highly valued and sought after,” said Lucinda Brunenkant, Bloom Elementary School’s new principal. “I’m just absolutely thrilled and excited, seriously excited to welcome the new kids and the new families to really get this program started because I really believe in it and I know these kids are going to do well."
There are a few spots left in the kindergarten dual language class at Bloom Elementary, but they are going quickly.

The discovery of River Niger: Historie from nairaland blog 2007

Who really discovered River Niger? We were taught while in the primary school that Mungo Park discovered 'River Niger'. But is that really true?
*********
When you say somebody
'discover' something,Has he brought it to the knowledge of people and those people did not know the existence of that thing. It is like somebody telling me that the stream where my mother and grandmother fetched water, was 'discovered' yesterday by somebody residing in
another village about 500 kilometers away. So those people in New Bussa, Lokoja, Jebba who fetched, cooked and washed from the river did
not know that the river exists before Mungo Park came.

What do you think?.

Jada Pinkett Smith and Willow Smith Had the Coolest Mother-Daughter Date in History, at Paris' Fashion Week

While you might get excited when your mom
offers to take you to the mall or buy you
groceries, Willow Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith's
mother-daughter outings are a little different.
The striking pair arrived at the Chanel fashion
show during Paris Fashion Week on Tuesday and
exuded levels of cool that were almost
otherworldly. Willow channeled Taylor Swift's
"Bad Blood" music video with her badass,
skintight, black and gray jumpsuit, while mom
Jada kept things casual in a breezy white dress
shirt, jeans, and a tweed blazer. The pair sat
front row as Karl Lagerfeld's best strutted down
the runway and later posed for photographers
outside.

Barrack Obama's (16years old) daughter is pregnant!!!

As for *WASHINGTON, D.C., President Barack Obama’s daughter, 16-year-old Malia Obama, has confirmed that she is pregnant. Sources say Malia is now in her first trimester. Mother and First Lady, Michelle Obama, says that although she will be a grandmother much younger than she planned, teen pregnancy runs in the family.
“On her father’s side of course. My mother-in-law had Barack when she was 18, so I see where Malia gets it from. I’m just so excited to decorate the nursery. The White House hasn’t
seen a baby since oh, 1884 or so.”
Na wa oh!
So what has this fine girl deserve so fast from her lover boy?

President Obama Accidentally Reveals Daughter Sasha Has a Secret Twitter Account

President Barack Obama joined Hillary Clinton
on the campaign trail for the first time on
Tuesday, where he spoke in support of the
presumptive Democratic party nominee -- and
revealed his daughter Sasha has a Twitter
account.
WATCH: Michelle, Sasha and Malia Obama
Coordinate Outfits in Morocco, Look Incredibly
Chic!
The big news came accidentally, as the president
took a dig at Donald Trump over his
unprecedented (to put it lightly) use of Twitter
during the election.
"Everybody can tweet, but nobody actually
knows what it takes to do the job until you've
sat behind the desk," Obama declared. "I mean,
Sasha tweets, but she doesn't think that she
thereby should be sitting behind the desk!"
Cue the internet freak out.
While there's no word yet on what the 15-year-
old's handle might be, Twitter can't get enough
of the idea that the youngest Obama has a
Twitter account.

The records reported that: a Doctors performs the first- ever U.S. penis transplant

The recipient was 64-year-old Thomas
Manning, who had to amputate part of his
penis in 2012 after suffering from penile
cancer.
The surgery took 15 hours over May 8 and
9, taking time to match up the vascular
and neural structures of the donor penis
and the recipient’s body. And before that,
researchers from multiple departments of
the hospital worked for more than three
years on the concept. The goals of a penis
transplant are to reconstruct the
appearance, make the urinary process
work, and then possibly regain sexual
function.
The hospital said doctors were “cautiously
optimistic” that Manning will regain all
the function he lost from cancer.
According to the New York Times,
Manning had been left with an inch-long
“stump” after cancer and felt hopeless
when it came to relationships with women.
There has only been one other successful
penis transplant in the world; in 2014, a
South African transplant recipient fathered
a child.

Police arrested a Pastor who buried men alive in his church foundation

Police on
Friday arrested suspected Pastor who
caused a stir when three dead bodies were
discovered under the foundation of his
new church building in Enugu State.
The strange discovery of dead bodies
buried in shallow graves under the
foundation of a popular church located at
the Ugwuaji area along the Enugu-Port
Harcourt Expressway, in January, 2016, has
caused serious outrage amongst the
residents with the police vowing to do
everything possible to bring the run away
pastor to book.
It was later discovered that the three
bodies found under the church foundation
were members of the Tricycle Riders
Association in the state, who had been
declared missing earlier by the Keke Riders’
body.
The pastor is currently cooling his heels in
the cell of the State Police Command.

them dearly and as a true friend, i am
trying my best to be a friend to them and
to encourage them in the best way
possible.”
On why he is not married yet
“I am fine with being single and not in a
hurry to walk the aisle. I think people
don’t give much attention to marriage but
the ceremonies and I am not going to let
that push me until I am ready….my kind of
woman is someone that is beautiful, she
has to be beautiful because that is what
will first attract me to her and she must be
God fearing, she must have a sense of
humor and be independent. She must love
music, she mustn’t necessarily know how to
cook cos i enjoy cooking myself, she
should be ambitious and have a career
and have her money, no one wants a lazy
woman”.

Chris Brown is once again
in the nets of cops, but for this time it is for worse Chris-Brown rented a villa in Ibiza, last week in June, and the landlord went to police and accused Chris of trashing the house. According to the police report, obtained by TMZ, Chris or someone in his crew either threw knives at the wall or carved them up. And the alleged damages gets worse … the
landlord says someone peed on the bed and there was vomit roughly and reboundedly as a littery to the compound.
As for why cops got involved, according to the report, Chris-Brown was supposed to be out hours ago and wouldn’t leave, so the
landlord got police to help give him the
boot.
The landlord says Chris is also on the hook
for $26k in rent, and with damages the
landlord is now gunning for $60k.
A source close to Chris-Brown says the rent issue
has been resolved, and was a banking
problem on the landlord’s end.
